Ajattelen perunaa.
Ajattelen perunan monia vaiheita.
Ajattelen lukemattoman monia esivanhempiani.

Pienistä vaunuista, pellavaisista.
Vaunuissa tarjolla:
Hiekkaa lautasilla
lasikuulia
kaduilta löytyneitä koruja
heinää
ja väriä.
Tulevaisuudessa - lapsi, joka:
Löytää Liverpoolin kadulta helmen
Istuttaa perunan
Kuuntelee räppiä ja
Näkee tuhat unta teoksista, joita -
Pohtii jääkiekkoa
Ottaa kiinni höyhenen joka laskeutuu puusta
Joka maalaa koisokasvin kukan ( tulkitaan tähdeksi ) -
Siirtelee jalkojaan edestakaisin: tanssii
Siirtelee värejä edestakaisin: maalaa
Siirtelee hiekkaa edestakaisin: huhkii
Hiekasta lasiksi metalliksi posliiniksi ajatuksiksi ideoiksi unelmiksi
Kasvikuiduista kankaaksi paperiksi väreiksi kukiksi tähdiksi
Unista haaveiksi suunnitelmiksi todeksi nähtäväksi käsinkosketeltavaksi jaettavaksi
Muinaisilta ajoilta tulevaisuuteen ja RÄPS tähän nyt PUM

Rudimentary magic
I think of potatoes.
I think of the many phases potatoes have gone through.
I think of numberless ancestors.
And I think of the numberless phases they went through.
Maybe they dreamt :
Of a small trolley, made of linen
Serving :
Plates of sand
marbles
jewellery found from streets
hay
and color.
In the future – a child who :
Finds a pearl in Liverpool
Plants a potato
Listens to rap and
Dreams a thousand dreams of artworks that -
Ponders about icehockey
Catches a feather floating down from a tree
Who : paints a nightshade flower ( seen as a star ) -
Moves her legs back and forth – dances
Moves colors back and forth – paints
Moves sand back and forth - sweats
From sand to glass to metal to porcelain to thoughts to ideas to dreams
From plant fibre to fabric to paper to colors to flowers to stars
From dreams to visions to plans to implementations to be seen to be touched to be shared
From ancient times to future and SNAP here now BOOM
